Red Rain in 2009 / Studio It’s the end of January now and all the guys are back together again in rainy, overcast Sacramento, CA. After having six weeks off to see family and friends, the band is ready to begin what will be an exciting three month journey in making what is expected to be the best Red Rain album yet. For the next five weeks the band will be in pre- production in Sacramento with occasional gigs on the weekends before they head off to Vancouver, WA. to lay down the final tracks in the studio there. Red Rain will be looking to release their third album in May just before they head out on their ’09 world tour. With tour of Asia and part of Europe behind us come and join us in Ukraine beginning with Dnepropetrovsk on Monday 13th of July. But, before we go any further, lets catch up of the last few weeks ... After a record breaking tour in 2008 Red
Rain flew into Ukraine, the country known as
the breadbasket of Europe for a two week tour filled with high expectations. Large vocal crowds,

fine hospitality, and the world re-known “banya/sauna” are always something to look forward to when coming to in this part of the world. One of the great thrills for the band is to play in towns that wold not normally get to see or hear an international act. Red Rain decided a few years back that they wanted to take the music to the people and the response has been enormous. The music is touching people not only in the main centers, but also at the grass roots level in the smaller towns. What an incredible sight it is to see town squares filled with 2-4000 people who have never heard the band before and by the third or fourth song just rocking out and having a great time. Once again the band ended Ukraine on a high and are headed to Poland for their first ever concerts in Warsaw and Heln.

Red Rain concluded the French and Monaco leg of

world tour ’09 today. Leaving behind soaring
temperatures and the beginning of summer vacation.

The band kicked off the tour two weeks ago in Paris

Red Rain finished their tour of Germany last week

and are now in France. On the back of phenomenal

concerts in Asia the team flew into Frankfurt Germany

Asia: Hong Kong/Singapore 25.5.09

Red Rain arrived into Hong Kong with high expectations

after a break out performance at the Under Ground night

club, Club Cixi the previous year. On Friday the band
visited a local university to hang out with students and
showcase a small acoustic taste of what was to come
